An anonymous programmer in an administrative department by day, Thomas Anderson becomes Neo by night. Under this alias, he is one of the most wanted hackers in cyberspace. Straddling two worlds, Neo is plagued by strange dreams and encrypted messages from a man named Morpheus. Morpheus urges him to look beyond appearances and find the answer to the question that constantly haunts his thoughts: what is the Matrix?
The Matrix Reloaded
The men rescued from the Matrix have taken refuge in the underground city of Zion, which machines of destruction are trying to reach. Morpheus and Neo wait for a sign from the Oracle to continue their fight. When he finally shows up, Neo realizes that a programming error in the Matrix has created the Oracle. He then sets out on his new mission: to find the Keymaster, who is a prisoner of the Merovingian.
The Matrix Revolutions
While Neo is trapped in a train station between two worlds, the Machines are preparing to attack Zion. Morpheus, Trinity and Seraph attack the Merovingian's lair to join him. The Oracle warns Neo that he must beware of Agent Smith, his opposite, as the final battle between the humans and the Machines is near. The citizens of Zion are actively preparing the defense of the city.
The Matrix Resurrections
To find out if his reality is a physical or mental construct, Mr. Anderson, aka Neo, will have to choose to follow the white rabbit once again. If he's learned anything, it's that this choice, while an illusion, is still the only way out of or into the Matrix. Neo already knows what he must do, but what he doesn't know yet is that the Matrix is stronger, safer and far more dangerous than ever.
