In an undefined future, oil reserves are depleted and violence rules the world. Max, a former road safety officer, comes to the rescue of a community of runaways in the grip of highway pirates. The battle centers around a refinery tank.

Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome

Max returns home to find his meagre possessions stolen. Following the thief, he arrives in the city of Barter, where Entity reigns. She hires him to get rid of Master and Blaster, kings of the Underworld. Unwilling to kill Blaster, Max is abandoned in the middle of the desert, from where he re-emerges at the head of a troop of children to blow up the city of Barter.

Mad Max: Fury Road

Haunted by a dark past, Mad Max believes that the best way to survive is alone. However, he finds himself embroiled in a gang that travels across the Desolation in a military vehicle piloted by Imperator Furiosa. They are fleeing the Citadel, where the terrible Immortan Joe is rampaging, having had an irreplaceable object stolen. Enraged, this warlord sends his men to hunt down the rebels with a ruthless vengeance.

Furiosa

This is the fifth installment in the Mad Max series. It is both a prequel and a spin-off to Mad Max: Fury Road. It centers on the character Furiosa. Actress Anya Taylor-Joy succeeds Charlize Theron in the title role.
